who allowed me to put them through all this and build 16 -8 foot walls in their garage.

I thought the show went great. I had over 2,000 people for the weekend of the opening, and several more during the following weeks. Thank you bff's Brandon, Lyd, CJ, Austin, Colin, Mickey, Jason, Tweet, and everyone else that i don't want to type. This was a tear jerking experience that i couldn't have made it through without you. We can now check this off the 'things to do' list.

I want to explore. I want to discover things that I didn’t know existed. I want to use light to map my adventures and pave the way for others to find me. I use my dreams, my insecurities and my aspirations as tools to create worlds that my viewers can get lost in, using their own assumptions and imagery to add to the reality or enchantment of these fabricated worlds.

I create photographic stills and video. The ambiguity between what is staged and what is ‘actual’ creates intrigue and questions the reality of where these spaces could or do exist. Narrative suggests story and therefore a movement, a story needs to progress in order to be told. I want to be able to add to the meaning of my still images by giving them a place, a past, a present and future existence. My roll as an artist in is more than a creator; I am a character in the creation of these preserved moments. Acting as participant and a witness of processes and final work. With my work I try and enlighten and question the perception of what is ‘actual’ and the limits in which reality can occur.

Thesis Stuff

I'm currently in the process of writing my proposal for my thesis show. its really confusing.

My show is going to be a series of 4/5 video installations. These installations will be door-frames surrounded by partial interior walls. and in these door-frames video loops will be back projected into them, as if you are looking into an interior room. I'll give you a more detailed description when i find the words to say what i want. But for now here are some test photographs of me practicing one of the videos. eh. check it out.

 I'm not really sure as of yet, where these will be shot so they are in a pretty minimal area. The model/lighting/design/rotation is not the same so pretty much everything will be different but the concept.

 These are doors i may possibly use in a video too.
